Validation of an initial assessment certificate issued by another member state of the European Union, so that the Spanish Approval Authority can grant approvals to manufacturers that have such documentation.

Procedure

The manufacturer must make an official request to UCA providing all the necessary documentation. After analysing the documentation and completing the necessary verification procedures with the Approval Authority, the decision shall be communicated to the manufacturer within 15 days of receiving of the complete documentation. In case of being positive, the duration of the validation will be one year, after which the manufacturer will have to go through a conformity of production control.

Request

To go through the initial assessment procedure and obtain the certificate, an official request , signed by a person in charge and accompanied by all the necessary documentation (indicated in the application itself) must be sent to the following address: uca@ffii.es
